| I have been researching the 153 (or so) posted members to 106 Battery during the time of its reformation in April 1966 until March 5 1968 when (we) the Unit returned to Australia after its 67/8 tour of SVN. Reading through your web site, I noticed three names who served with "The Turtles", namely Neville Tickner, Barry Sweeney and Laurie Willey. Thank you for your efforts in creating the site. |

Just got into the site via Jones B's - ex-107 Bty, site. I was 107 bty 1967 to 1971. I am ex-C/S Enterprise 12 SVN 70/71. Great to see someone has something going and great to hear (and see) about the 'lucky' escape of the 107 crew recently at High Range. Anyone interested in the post-premature photos, please email me for the .jpg's.

| Have found this as result of Roger Hall and Jon "Doc" Pranevicous (spelling?) calling in recently. There are a few of us in SA. Rob(Van)Van Wanginengen, Pat Kitschke, Mark Hueppauff, Ed Szczesniak and self keep in touch. Iain Hamdorf is in Pt Lincoln. Have belonged to 7 RAR assoc for several years and been to their 95 & 2000 reunions as spent a lot of my time FO Sig with A Coy so have mixed allegiances. Ian McNaughton put me on to it but he's gone AWOL, he wasn't in Darwin in 2000. Anyone seen him? Regards to all old turtles. |
